Join The Band
Thank you for your interest in joining the band! Please contact us to let us know you’re interested. We are often in need of various instruments! We always are accepting any interested musicians, but are especially in need of:
- Oboe
- Bassoon
- Clarinet
- Euphonium
- Percussion (especially mallet players)
Our band is active year-round band, with the exception of a multi-week break in late summer and again during the winter holidays. We rehearse most Mondays from 7:00-9:00 PM at Jesuit High School, with some exceptions as noted on the calendar.
A document outlining the expectations of band members will be given at your first rehearsal.
The band performs three formal concerts and various community “play-out” events. Our small ensembles (eg. saxophone quartet, clarinet quartet, woodwind quintet, brass quintet) also perform in the community.
